This is a follow-up article of Launchbar: Dialing phone numbers with Fritz!Box, where I explained how to use Launchbar for dialing phone numbers via FritzBox.
Meanwhile, AVM has changed the login procedure and the original script no longer works. With the help of this example, it’s finally doing its job again.

Hi, I am new to the FritzBox and need help integrating it with my software. I clicked the link but most of it was in German so I could not understand where to start from.
Basically my program is a multi user CRM written in VB6 and what I need to do is when I click on a contact number it should dial the number from the extension of the person who initiated the call.
Also when an incoming call comes in it should see if a caller id match is found and if so it would show a popup on all connected users screen and they could load that record. if the number match is not available it should do an internet lookup with das oertliche.
please can you guide me the right direction to achieve the above.

Hi Nirav,
to dial phone numbers in VB6, just translate the script in the link (German should not be a problem here) or my Applescript into VB6. I can’t help you with that because I don’t know VB6.
For monitoring calls, I don’t have a fully working solution. But I remember that you have to actiavate remote monitoring on the FritzBox and then connect to a special port. When a call comes in, some text is send on your connection. Hope that helps.
